What information do I send in with my tools?
The first time you should send your company name, the name you want on the certification, billing name, address, contact name, phone number, email address, fax number, shipping address if different from billing address, how you want tools shipped back, a list of tools sent, and any special requests. Please include your shipping or freight account number if you would like us to send your order back freight collect. The next time you send us an order for calibration you will only need to include your company name, a tool list, and any special requests.

Do you offer Expedite Service?
We offer Same Day Service for a 50% surcharge or Next Day Service for a 25% surcharge. We also have a Next On Bench option if you are wanting to wait for the tool to be completed. This service has a 100% surcharge. If you send in tools and ask for service ASAP, we may not expedite the tool[s], so please specify the expedite service needed, along with cost you require, to ensure there is no confusion. These rates do not include shipping, handling or other charges.

How will I know that I have tools due for certification?
We have a report that will be sent to you periodically if you have tools that are past due or will be due for calibration in the near future. There is no charge for this service. If we do not receive the past due tools within a reasonable amount of time we may automatically inactivate them. You may request to be removed from this complimentary service.

How do I set up an open account?
We will set up a 30 day open account when you send us tools, and it will remain this way as long as you do not disappoint us by not paying on time. Exclusions may include new tool purchases without a past history of payment.

How will you ship our tools back to us?
Our normal and default shipping method is ground. If you want for us to use any other service, please send your account number and we will honor almost any requested shipping method.

If a tool cannot be certified, what is the cost?
We do not charge for any tool that we do not certify. However, we will apply normal shipping charges when returning your tool to you.

How long do you keep calibration records?
We keep all of our customer and company records for a minimum of five years. We can maintain records for up to 10 years by request.

Can I bring in tools for certification and wait on them?
Yes, but some tools require temperature stabilization before we can start to measure and certify them. Next on Bench fee of 100% applies.

If I lose a tool calibration certificate, can I get a copy?
Yes, contact us and we will quickly send you another copy.

Will you call if any tools require abnormal repair?
Yes, we normally call if any repair exceeds $15.00 on any tool. Some companies have established a repair charge not to exceed a percentage of new cost, such as 50% or 75%. It speeds up the return time on tools if we do not have to wait on an approval call.

Do you send any tools out for certification?
We will notify you if we cannot certify your tool because it needs repair beyond our capabilities. If this occurs, you can request for us to send it back to the manufacturer for repair.

I am moving to a new job. Will my certification transfer?
Yes, you or your new employer can call us and we will change the name on certification and fax a copy to you. Most companies will accept a tool certification with another name on it until the tool is due for recertification.

Will you measure and certify a custom tool?
Yes, but we must have the part drawing or all exact information on any measurements you want certified.

Are you compliant with ISO accreditation standards?
We are compliant and accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard. Our customers are also welcome to schedule a tour of our lab. We also welcome customers to audit us to ensure compliance to their quality system requirements.

What is your normal turn-around time?
Calibration orders will ship in five working days or less from when we receive the tools. Calibration charges are free on all un-shipped tools unless we must order parts and/or repair a tool before calibration. There may be other exceptions including when we are waiting on a customer response.

Do you have a Minimum Charge?
Our minimum charge is $26.00 per invoice.

When do you add new equipment calibration and testing capabilities to your list?
We continually add new calibration and test equipment and test procedures to our capabilities. Please call if you have an item or requirement that is not listed on our capabilities list.

Under what circumstances would your prices vary?
Prices may vary with range of instrument and are subject to change without notice.

What limitations are there to your certifications?
Instruments are certified for use in ground test equipment only. We DO NOT calibrate any On-Aircraft AVIONICS or NAVIGATIONAL EQUIPMENT.

Do you require your employees to undergo drug testing?
We do not have a drug testing program as this is not an FAA requirement for a ground M&TE calibration service.

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express & most corporate cards for payment.
